There are plenty of prospective for Venetian real estate.

The city itself offers predominantly historic houses with very original décor, which may be converted into the charming tourist attractions. The stock of property for sale in the water part of Venice is insignificant. These are rare jewels, worth admiration for their décor. The rates go down in the upcoming areas such as Giudecca, where old industrial buildings are being converted into apartments — one-bedroom apartments in the Judecca Nova developments were on sale recently from €160,000, and three-bedroom duplexes for €435,000.

Continental part of the city also has much to offer. Veneto is one of the most thriving provinces, famous for excellent vineyards, farming and tourist industry. Treviso its own airport, serving domestic and international destinations, and Padua, a bustling university city, should also be considered as potential real estate treasures. The land has almost unlimited prospective when handled properly, so the competition for real estate in these areas is harder than in Venice itself.
